Added various lines of code over last week to .htaccess and LocalSettings.php files due to excessive spamming. Most solutions found on web did not work, stopping spams only momentarily. Many spammers wiped each other’s entries, which was in part amusing. Latest fix seems to have stopped them for now. Talk pages locked off now (in theory), and registration now required even for them, since spammers outnumbered legitimate commenters. WikiSysop 03:35, 16 July 2008 (CDT)
