Daihatsu Charmant. 1981–7 (prod. unknown). 4-door sedan. F/R, 1290 cm³ (4 cyl. OHV), 1452, 1587 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC). Boxier, more modern replacement for original Charmant, now based around RWD E70 Corolla. Premium interior and more upscale than Corolla, with 1·5 to all Japanese-market models by 1984. Largest 1·6 for export.
