Ford Fairmont (EA26). 1988–91 (prod. 223,612, incl. Falcon). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 3949 cm³ (6 cyl. OHC). Fairmont followed Falcon with new aero look, but with more standard equipment. No 3·2, however: engine choices were the single-point fuel-injected 3·9 with 120 kW, or a multi-point version with 139 kW. Mechanical changes otherwise mirrored junior car. Standard and Ghia versions offered.
