Ford Focus (C346). 2011 to date (prod. unknown). 4- and 5-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 1596, 1999 cm³ petrol, 1560, 1997 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. DOHC). Ford unites US and worldwide editions of Focus with advanced third-generation model. Lavishly equipped given the price, very refined, class-leading interior quality and safety; stop–start and active grille shuttering to aid fuel economy, dual-clutch gearboxes. Like C-Max Mk II, Ecoboost units available, including turbocharged 2·0 for ST, featuring different grille. Electric model planned, again with different grille, to distinguish the model. Being larger, not as agile as predecessor, and greater emphasis on comfort, but on launch considered one of the most complete cars on the market.
