Hillman GT (1968–74)

Hillman GT (Arrow). 1968–74 (prod. 470,000 approx. all types, incl. Minx and Hunter). 4-door saloon. F/R, 1725 cm³ (4 cyl. OHV). Sporting version of Minx, but technically its own model line; Australia had a parallel with Chrysler Hunter Hustler. Quiet with a reasonable ride for the era, but poor handling and poorly specified, with low price. Rapier engine not that powerful in this shell. Overdrive option. Followed regular Hunter with facelifts and deleted in 1974.
