Volkswagen Brasilia
From AutocadeVolkswagen Brasilia. 1973–82 (prod. 1,000,000 approx.). 3- and 5-door sedan. R/R, 1584 cm³ (4 cyl. OHV). Unique-to-Brazil and modern-looking compact car resembling the 412 Variant, but in fact based on Käfer underpinnings. Not the most competitive given its antique origins (though considered reliable, in part for that reason), even in the closed market of Brazil at the time, with Chevrolet Chevette the better car. Five-door very rare; most were three-door models.
