Jensen PW
From AutocadeJensen PW. 1946–52 (prod. 19 approx.). 4-door saloon, 4-door convertible. F/R, 3860, 4205 cm³ (I8 OHV), 3993 cm³ (I6 OHV). Large, luxurious saloon from Jensen, with PW denoting postwar. Launched with Meadows 3·9 straight eight; sources report that the engine suffered from harsh vibrations, and Jensen had to fall back on prewar, stockpiled Nash 4·2 engines. Allegedly inspired similar Austin Sheerline limousine, which led to Austin providing Jensen its four-litre six for the PW.
