BMW X1 (E84). 2009 to date (prod. unknown). 5-door SUV. F/R, F/A, 1995 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. DOHC), 2996 cm³ (6 cyl. DOHC). Small SUV from BMW, built in Germany rather than the US. Despite name, shares 3er-Reihe platform, down to wheelbase. Smooth engine, ride not the best, and handling very good. Interior plastics are not as high a grade as on the regular 3er.
